Attraction Marketing - Best Tips and Blunders

On May 9th, Six Successful Women Shared Their Best Internet Marketing Tips and Warned Against Common Marketing Blunders.

    It was an exceptional call.

In case you didn't know about it or get to listen to the call, I am sharing some of the key points in my blog.

These women have made the call and a training manual available for free! You'll find that link at the bottom.

I know that each of these tremendously successful marketers credit their success to The Renegade Netowork Marketer ebook and Renegade Professional (reopening for new subscribers soon).

    The presenters and their topic:

Determining Your Target Market & Creating Content For That Niche by Wendy Mills

"One of the biggest fallacies in network marketing is that everyone is your prospect. You need to narrow your focus to ― "hit the target" of people who actually have an interest in the product, service or opportunity that you are marketing and want to do business with you.

...you don't actually have to mention the name of your company or product, and there are many reasons why you probably don't want to! You are pre-selling your target market through the process of educating them. You don't want to be overly promotional or include hype, or you'll lose them – click! ... they will leave your page and go somewhere else!"

Secure Your Financial Future by “Effectively” Using Social Media to Create Big Business Results on a Budget by Diyana Alcheva

"There are literally thousands of Social Media sites with more appearing every day. If you‘re in business, you want to be where the people are. Better yet, you want to position yourself where they are going. People are moving in droves to social media sites.

Squidoo is a Social Content Sharing site and in January of 2009 had 4,810,710 visitors, just that month alone. YouTube had 84.4 million viewers in the month of March of 2009.

From these stats you can clearly see how just one of these sites has the potential to put your message in front of thousands of people"

    Branding Yourself by Cammy Stubbs

"You cannot blend in with the crowd and expect to achieve any kind of notable success. A strong brand is invaluable in the intense day by day battle for customers and profits.

Your brand is directly correlated to your bottom line.

A study done over three years ago revealed that approximately 50,000 people join a NWM company each week. There is without a doubt you have severe competition. You must distinguish yourself from the thousands of marketers out there who are competing for the same sale as you are."

Rejection Free Selling with the Consultative Approach by Barbara Silva

"It‘s no surprise that fear of rejection is a big stumbling block for many business owners. After all, there are going to be more ―”nays” than ―”yays.”

So how do you get around this fear of rejection?

The Consultative Approach to selling, also known as Conceptual Selling, refers to framing the entire sales process around your client‘s concept of reality. This approach to the sales process is outlined in great detail in Stephen E. Heiman‘s book, The New Conceptual Selling."

I've read this book and I highly recommend it. You can buy it here:

The Power of a Website by Lisa Hanfileti

"A website is (in my opinion) the very best way to show a visitor who you are and what you have to offer...

Your business website is the hub of all your other marketing efforts, so be sure to invest in a good web program and acquire the necessary skills to develop a properly constructed website. It will allow you to build your business for years and years to come!"

I recommend SiteBuildIt! I know each of these women use SBI! If you'd like to check it out, click here.

Direct Mail Marketing by Alicia Bausley

"I use direct mail marketing as an additional tool to complement my overall marketing strategy. It‘s important to use more than one form of marketing when communicating with my prospects and my clients.

Any professional marketer, whether they are expert in online or offline marketing, will tell you that the most important thing in working with a prospect is to build and enhance your relationship with them. You can achieve this goal by building credibility and creating a feeling of trust with direct mail marketing pieces that always provide valuable information (and you can do so through teaching and educating them about the topic they are interested in) and present solutions that will work for them."

To learn more about the Direct Mail Marketing resource Alicia and I use, click here.

You can use this free training in your own marketing. It's called 'borrowed credibility.' Just as well borrow it from the professionals.
