I Still Think It’s a Pyramid Scheme…
Ever heard that before?
That can stop you in your tracks before you even get out of the starting gate.
All of the enthusiasm you felt at your opportunity meeting, you know, the one where you signed on the dotted line, is quickly drained right out of you.
You might have even felt a wave of panic come over you when you realized your family and friends were not the least bit interested in joining your network marketing opportunity.
You can try and try to explain what network marketing is to all of the naysayers in your life (this includes casual acquaintances or people at the mall or… you know what I mean), but the reality is, they don’t want to know about it.
They are afraid you will try to “sell” them on the idea and badger you into joining their network marketing company. So they don’t even ask about it.
Family and friends typically make the worst network marketing leads. They are the least likely to join you in your opportunity. Surprisingly, many network marketing company’s still recommend you approach them first. It’s that “make a list” strategy that simply doesn’t work for 95% of network marketers.
Trying to market to family and friends is one of the biggest reasons people fail in network marketing. That’s why it’s critical to learn how to generate your own network marketing leads. And that’s why you’re here on my blog—to get this figured out:)

Network Marketing still has the “stigma” of being a “pyramid scheme.” I don’t suppose that will ever go away. No need to try to convince folks. Just be confident within yourself of what you stand for as a network marketer and generate your own leads!
